United Indian Student Alliance
The United Indian Student Alliance was formally founded in December 1992 to unite the Indian and Indian-American students of different universities and colleges in the state of Georgia. It has been legally incorporated with the state of Georgia to serve as a non-profit organization formed to promote friendship, harmony, unity, and cultural awareness between students of Indian origin and of other nationalities.Through our cultural events, community service, and social events, we, as an organization, are trying to achieve our goal of bringing cultural awareness by spreading the South Asian Culture. Come join us at our weekly and monthly events where you can meet new people, play games, and become more involved with the community. Our annual Diwali Cultural show is a collection of talents, including displays of dances, songs, skits, and fashion. Feel free to accompany us at our monthly social events as well as our weekly community service projects. As the UISA board, we take great pride in our organization, from our activities to our member participation. Our main purpose is to serve as a vehicle for positive interaction between Indian youth among themselves with the community at large. We invite you to explore what our organization has to offer and create your own definition of UISA.
